Code of Ethics

We have an ethos and ethic we are determined to exhibit in everything we do. At our Foundation, we understand that a particularly high standard of ethics and care is critical due to the vulnerable nature of our client population. These high standards include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • All members and staff will treat clients with respect, compassion, and dignity
  • All members and staff will consider the potential impact of their power/authority inherent in their roles in the Foundation and will not use it for personal gain
  • All members and staff understand that privacy and confidentiality are critical to providing effective services, and that all staff must adhere to our Foundation’s Confidentiality Policy
  • No members and staff member may use their position at the Foundation for personal gain beyond regular compensation
  • All professional staff are strictly prohibited from engaging in dual relationships with clients as set out in each of their Professional Codes of Ethics
